Configur8or - Overall Deployment

There are over 40 standard integrations plus there is a full API available for software development if you wish to create integrations in-house. Configur8or links in many ways including creation of quotes, sales orders, custom item descriptions and dynamic part numbers. An example of where you may want a part number created dynamically could be that of RAL part numbers where you may take the 'xxxxx' part number and add the RAL code combining the two create a unique part number that relates to that particular part in that particular colour. This can all be done on the fly.

We also handle pricing and discounts. Pricing can be wide and varied with 'costs +', price lists, multicurrency, individual customer price lists, group customer price lists and discounting in any way you wish.

Manufacturing orders, also known as production orders and works orders, Configur8or can create one-off versions of those with a unique bills of materials (BOM) within. Therefore if the rules change on Configur8or for standards compliance, supercedence etc. these are automatically taken care of. We can create BOMs within your ERP solution if you prefer.

Creation of stock lines in inventory can be handled through Configur8or. If there are stock lines that are required that don't exist for example if we wanted to use the dynamic RAL part number mentioned previously we will create the new stock line dynamically.

You can also update costs for inventory. We will carry the latest costs available to the system. Those will be updated to Configur8or every time you re-sync or as required. Synchronising customers is possible. You have the ability to create customers within Configur8or if you choose. If you choose not to then that option can be taken away from the 'user role' but then any customers created in your ERP solution will be synchronised with Configur8or to make them available for the Configur8or list.

You can use Configur8or to generate C+C codes against parts. For example a series of tooling operations and dimensions of where they should be applied can be created and passed across to either the ERP manufacturing solution or the appropriate C+C software. Where specific batching is required and not available in the ERP then you can do cross order batching either at the product or model level to suit with whatever properties you require and batch those items together before passing them back to the C+C in the way we've already outlined.

A legacy system could be where you have a different CRM system to your ERP. In that situation Configur8or forms a conduit between the two. So if you create a new opportunity within your CRM, you can use a pop-up or embedded frame of Configur8or to create the quote. The summary of that will be written back to CRM and when that becomes an order Configur8or will write the sales order and the works order to the ERP solution. Other situation may be where you have legacy bespoke systems where you wish to part information or reference certain data. Also in industries specific databases where you are handling things such as industry standards information, Configur8or can usually access data from these as well.
